About the role
We're looking for a Store Manager who can bring the fandom to life. Your primary responsibilities include leading the store in achieving sales targets, recruiting and retaining a passionate team, and managing operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure store achieves sales plan and/or comp sales goals
- Recruit, develop, and retain a super collaborative and passionate team
- Create buzz and customer engagement through social media, store web applications, and clienteling
- Lead an operationally sound business with a balance of organizational structure, delegation, and customer-first selling practices
- Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business
- Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
- Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy towards hitting sales targets
- Maintain a bench of equally talented, passionate staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
- Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and trends
- Able to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to work independently and adapt to new technologies
- Able to communicate company policies and procedures
- Able to control supply ownership (spending only as needed)

Benefits
BoxLunch offers competitive compensation, including a base pay range of $23.25 - $29.10 per hour, with additional benefits available based on qualifications and performance.
Pay
The pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual's education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires.
