About the role

As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will lead a team‑oriented, dynamic environment, driving results and developing associates. You will manage talent, inspire your team, and ensure every customer receives an unforgettable, custom‑fit hair and beauty experience. You will also oversee all store operations, maintain budgets, control expenses, grow sales, manage inventory, and keep the store looking its best while protecting customers, associates, and assets through safety and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire store team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Ensure each customer receives a personalized solution for their hair and beauty needs.
• Meet or exceed sales goals by overseeing store operations, budgeting, expense control, and inventory management.
• Maintain store appearance and visual standards.
• Enforce safety, security, and company policy compliance for staff, customers, and assets.
• Coach and develop associates as role models and innovators.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of sales management experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus (not required).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb, occasionally while on a ladder (with or without accommodation).
• May be exposed to fumes and odors on occasion.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
