About the role
Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Maintenance member to join our team. Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service, operate and repair mechanical systems, and perform housekeeping inside and outside the store.
- Assist with store security and support store cashiers whenever possible.
- Repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and associated equipment including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems.
- Practice safe procedures in repairs and tool handling while wearing protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.
- Clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands, and handle building and property upkeep including landscaping and trash and snow removal.
- Maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics, and maintain lights including lamp and ballast replacement.
- Commit to keeping the store running and come in as needed.
- Interact with the public providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist clerks or managers as needed.
