What You'll Be Doing

  • Aid in the staffing, interviewing, and selection process for leadership and non-leadership roles within the store.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and applications for positions within the store.
  • Oversee effective orientation, onboarding, and training to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Facilitate communication between store leadership and team members through mTeam, mCulture, mPerformance, and other HR key initiatives.
  • Support leadership in communicating and addressing concerns with team members.
  • Assist in talent management, talent development, and total rewards processes and programs.
  • Provide guidance to store leadership on career development resources and track progress of individual development plans.
  • Offer consultation, direction, and recommendations to leadership regarding employee relations activities, dispute resolution, corrective and disciplinary actions, terminations, and EEO matters.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints or policy violations.
  • Support HR Market Managers with various projects as needed.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications)

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • An associate degree in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Ability to present thought leadership, demonstrate leadership presence, and be approachable.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen attentively and actively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to facilitate meetings and small group interactions.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and build a positive rapport with all levels of the organization.
  • High energy and adaptability.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Tenacity, emotional consistency, and courage to manage and address difficult situations.
  • Schedule flexibility when business needs exist.
  • Confidentiality and ability to instill trust.
