About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to join our Specialty Trades Team. This role supports the planning, design, permitting, and execution of capital projects across existing Kwik Trip retail locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating timelines, resources, and communication across internal teams and external partners.
- Development of project scopes, preparation of documentation, and management of store equipment repairs, installations, additions, and upgrades.
- Ensuring efficient, accurate, and aligned project delivery from initial concept through final completion.
- Enhancing store operations, improving customer experience, and supporting long-term asset performance across hundreds of locations.
Qualifications
- Holds an associate degree or at least three years of experience in project management or construction-related fields, with a solid understanding of general construction practices.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities, including the capacity to evaluate information, interpret data, and make actionable project decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to lead, teach, and collaborate effectively with co-workers and vendors.
- Sound judgment, adherence to company policies, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Highly organized, motivated, and self-directed, capable of maintaining project schedules and budgets with minimal supervision.
- A commitment to high customer service standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products.
- Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Schedule
This is a full-time position averaging 45 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with some evening meetings and occasional overnights. Scheduling flexibility is required, as hours vary based on the needs of the Store Engineering department.
