Position Responsibilities
- Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
- Pick up returns and cores
- Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
- Daily collection of credit accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
- Auxiliary in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
- Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
- General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
- Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
- Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
- Other duties as assigned

Essential Job Skills Necessary For Success
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers,0 peers and leadership
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Communicate confidently with customers and promote products
- Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
Necessary For Success
- Necessary automotive parts experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Physical Demands - Predominantly walking or standing; talking and hearing; handling or feeling; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Specific vision abilities - Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Work Environment - Usually working inside; occasionally outside and exposed to various weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives; vibration; noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
