Store Driver

Driver role focused on parts delivery, customer engagement, and store support.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Collect daily credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide insights to CPP
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock, and cycle counts
• Maintain product inventory knowledge and stay updated on new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build relationships
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
• Use basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Work flexible days, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Experience

• Automotive parts experience

Physical Demands

• Predominantly walking or standing
• Talking, hearing, and using hands to handle or feel
• Reaching with hands and arms; climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

• Primarily indoors; occasional outdoor exposure to weather (e.g., installing batteries and wiper blades)
• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, toxic/caustic chemicals, electrical shock risk, explosives, and vibration
• Moderate noise level

Pay

Good faith estimate: $12.20 – $13.21 USD per hour for new team members. Rate depends on geographic location, experience, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and shift differential (if applicable).
