Store Director – the owner of the business, a FENDI Brand Ambassador, and a business leader accountable for overall store performance, managing employees, merchandise, and supporting activities to achieve store targets and deliver positive experiences for internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive and improve sales performance for overall business; analyze results, propose, and implement action plans.
- Develop a sales strategy, working cross-functionally with corporate partners.
- Act as market authority, identifying new opportunities to attract and retain clients.
- Develop and deliver events and incentives to grow the business.
- Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure appropriate stock and assortment levels.
- Make recommendations for store renovations, upgrades, and expansion to increase sales and market share.
- Be present on the sales floor, empower sales staff to meet assigned sales through authentic client experiences, and communicate goal expectations.
- Partner with the Retail Events Office for the organization of local events.
- Lead customer service quality to meet expectations by offering excellent standards and leading by example.
- Develop dedicated Fendi customers, implement CRM tools, and maintain the customer database.
- Act as brand ambassador to strengthen/establish relationships with VIP clientele and prospect customers.
- Develop a strong private appointment culture.
- Ensure alignment between front of house and back of house operations.
- Complete all vital administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
- Control daily invoices, petty cash, and take actions to efficiently control costs and ensure smooth store operations.
- Review and submit sales and operational reports to management in adherence to company’s KPIs and policies.
- Ensure maintenance of cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and shrink requirements.
- Optimize display and proximity storage; keep best sellers on display at all times.
- Work with local freelancers to achieve impactful window installations and displays.
- Build an encouraging and positive team dynamic to develop and empower staff through goal setting, performance monitoring, and monthly catch-up meetings.
- Ensure all Top Store initiatives are rolled out, updated, and understood by the team.
- Attract and recruit the best talent available through networking and scouting.
- Proactively assess performance and growth potential of individual staff members to build a strong team and promote career paths.
- Identify individual and team training needs.
Requirements
- 10 years of proven experience, luxury retail preferred.
- Strong drive for results; goal-oriented.
- Excellent social skills: ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to use POS system and its inventory management functions.
- RTW (Ready-to-Wear) experience preferred.
- Foreign language skills are a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift boxes/weight up to 10 lbs.
- Organizational skills and strong digital literacy required.
- Flexible availability, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay
$150,000.00 - $180,000.00
