Store Detective

About the role

This role will require a mixture of shifts ranging from 09:00–17:00, 10:00–18:00, 11:00–19:00, 12:00–20:00, and 13:00–21:00.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Loss Prevention to prevent and detect theft
• Following shoppers or staff who behave suspiciously
• Taking evidence from witnesses
• Writing short reports
• Detaining anyone trying to leave the store with stolen goods
• Handling sensitive situations in a professional manner

Requirements

• Right to Work in the UK
• Experience as a Store Detective essential
• SIA Licence
• UK driving licence and own transport; prepared to travel
• Full clean driving licence
• Valid PSA licence
• Mature and responsible attitude to work
• Good observational skills
• Ability to use modern surveillance systems, such as CCTV and electronic tags
