Store Associate Year-Round

About the role

Part-time position with truly flexible scheduling, open Monday–Saturday 9:30AM–6:30PM, closed Sundays. Ideal for students, teachers, retirees, or anyone seeking extra income around other commitments.

What You'll Do

• Assist phone, catering, in-store lunch, and in-store retail customers with excellent service in a friendly and polite manner
• Respond positively to customer requests or comments
• Assist with food preparation including lunch, catering, and retail ham and turkey
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge and articulate product features and benefits
• Drive add-on sales through suggestion selling
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards
• Take initiative and remain productive throughout entire shift
• Consistently follow all processes, procedures, and company standards for service, food preparation, and control
• Adhere to safety, security, and respectful workplace policies

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Prior customer service or food preparation experience preferred
• Experience as a cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate, or store associate is a plus
• Restaurant, retail, grocery, or hotel experience welcome

Physical Requirements

• Physical dexterity and mobility to perform job demands, including working with hot torch
• Bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting products and supplies
• May be required to lift up to 65 pounds
