Store Associate

About the Role

A Läderach Store Associate is a brand ambassador, passionate about providing a wonderful shopping experience for Läderach customers. The ideal candidate is a chocolate-lover with vibrant energy and a welcoming personality who enjoys a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience and foster a positive in-house team environment.
• Provide training and support to Store Associates to ensure production goals, including product-finishing projects, are met.
• Execute product sales and register duties, including shop and shelf care, gift packaging, and in-shop order fulfillment.
• Target store sales goals through helpful customer recommendations.
• Maintain in-store compliance and loss prevention standards.
• Follow merchandising and food safety protocols.
• Support store managers with visual merchandising setups and other store-related projects.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in retail sales or a similar fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
• Reliable and flexible with scheduling based on store needs.
• Quality-minded with keen attention to detail.
• Passionate about chocolate.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for long hours in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to multitask, assist multiple customers, and handle unexpected changes (e.g., restocking or reorganizing displays).
• Agility to move quickly between tasks and maintain organization.
• Ability to bend, squat, or reach high to organize, stock, or clean products.
• Capability to lift 15–40 pounds.
• Maintain store cleanliness, which may involve bending to clean floors or wipe displays.
