About the role

Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
- Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth and development
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on the feet for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and visual acuity are essential.
