About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer, and supporting various departments including photo and beauty.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care.
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
• Advocate for and embrace new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time; lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly.
• Visual acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required.

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Pay
