About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer and supporting various departments within the store.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with warmth and care
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts as part of career development opportunities
• Embrace and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly
• Close visual acuity for performing activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and visual acuity are preferred but not required.

Pay
