About the role

A Store Associate is a vital part of the Andy’s team and the face of our brand. This individual works at a fast pace, creating and delivering high-quality frozen desserts while providing exceptional customer service. Store Associates play a large role in delivering the full Andy’s experience to customers in Dallas, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Orlando, and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the best frozen treats in a fast-paced environment
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Uphold high operational standards
• Work hands-on in a guest-facing role, supporting both customers and staff
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 55 pounds
• Operate point-of-sale systems, computers, and fountain equipment
• Stand, walk, and work in various weather conditions for extended periods

Requirements

• Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor
• Ability to lead by example and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 55 pounds
• Comfort with constant standing, walking, and precision work around the fountain area
• Good vision (near and far) and clear verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds independently and safely
• Occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps
• Constant use of computers, point-of-sale registers, and fountain equipment
• Frequent flexing or rotation of the wrist and spine
• Constant reaching, turning, and precision work around the fountain area
• Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas verbally
• Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
• Constant standing and walking
