About the role

The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a Storage Systems Administrator to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Melbourne, FL location.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain storage in the primary data center in Melbourne, FL, and the disaster recovery site in California.
  • Install, configure, manage and maintain storage and backup systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure teammates to support and enhance our infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies.
  • Develop and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain storage and backup systems, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Maintain system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Perform regular data backups and recovery operations.
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve storage and backup-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to support overall infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Regularly patch and upgrade storage systems.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience; OR Associate's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 9 years of relevant experience.
  • A current US Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Top Secret clearance.
  • Security+ (or greater) certification.
  • Experience working with storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.
  • Experience with backup software and tools (Cohesity, Backup Exec).
  • Strong understanding of data protection and disaster recovery principles.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience; OR Associate's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 12 years of relevant experience.
  • A current US Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Top Secret clearance.
  • Security+ (or greater) certification.
  • Experience working with storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.
  • Experience with backup software and tools (Cohesity, Backup Exec).
