Storage Product Architect
Job Overview
We are seeking a Storage Product Architect to define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our storage portfolio within the AI Factory Platform.
Responsibilities
- Co-Own the product strategy and roadmap for Penguin’s storage solutions aligned to the AI Factory Platform
- Define capabilities to support high-throughput, low-latency AI and HPC workloads
- Translate customer needs into scalable product requirements across:
- Parallel file systems and distributed storage
- Data pipelines, ingestion, and movement
- Tiered storage and data lifecycle management
- Performance optimization for GPU-based workloads
- Partner with engineering to deliver high-performance, scalable storage solutions
- Collaborate with sales and marketing on positioning, packaging, and customer adoption
- Engage with customers and partners to validate requirements and accelerate market traction
- Monitor trends in AI data infrastructure, storage technologies, and emerging architectures
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of product management experience in storage, data infrastructure, or enterprise systems
- Strong understanding of distributed storage architectures and performance optimization
- Experience with AI/ML, HPC, or large-scale data platforms
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear product strategy and customer value
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure products
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with parallel file systems (e.g., Lustre, GPFS), object storage, or NVMe-based architectures
- Familiarity with GPU-accelerated environments and AI training pipelines
- Exposure to hyperscalers or large enterprise infrastructure deployments

Compensation & Benefits
The base pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in United States is $116,000 - 144,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
