About the Role

As a Storage Planning Specialist, you'll play a critical role in coordinating the safe storage, movement, and distribution of materials that support our manufacturing operations. From directing truck and rail traffic to planning storage capacity, maintaining shipment records, and partnering with production teams, you'll help ensure operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Plans receipt, storage, and allocation of production or general stores material.
  • Ensures all storage compatibility and capacity requirements are followed.
  • Directs truck and rail movements to point of loading or unloading.
  • Maintains records of vehicle contents, trailer and car numbers, carriers, and crew assignments.
  • Maintains records of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Receives material requests from production expediters/planners and coordinates delivery and pick-up.
  • Supports Storage supervision on crew assignments, load planning, storage availability, and re-warehousing efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
  • Associate’s Degree (AA) from two-year college Preferred.
  • 2-3 years in Warehousing, Material Handling, Dispatch, Logistics or related position Required.
  • MS Office Experience (Word, Excel, Outlook) Required.
  • SAP Experience Preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $47,040 - $70,560 annually. Please note that this range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer amounts may vary based on experience and geographic location.
