Storage Center Worker III - Part-Time

About the role

This position operates a forklift to load and unload containers at a storage center. Responsibilities include assisting with a safe and clean working environment, managing routes, and performing various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load and unload containers
• Load trucks for first route and stage IF
• Pull ancillary items as assigned
• Assist Market Manager with routing
• Maintain full containers staged outside during the day
• Return containers to the warehouse each night
• Maintain fuel forklift, complete daily inspection reports, and maintain records
• Notify manager of needed repairs
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment
• Print and time-stamp waybills
• Scan and upload contracts, addendums, and other documents as required
• Repair damaged containers when necessary
• Communicate with drivers as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4-6 years storage center experience preferred
• Previous forklift experience required
• Ability to obtain Forklift Driver Certification
• Basic computer skills including data entry and Microsoft Office knowledge
• Sufficient math skills for required duties

Pay

$18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule

(3) days per week, 25-30 hours weekly. Must be available to work Saturdays, but not all Saturdays (rotating basis). One week will be Mon/Wed/Fri, and the next week will be Tues/Thur/Sat. Work hours will be consistent, 6:00am-3:00pm.
