Stone Mason

About the role

Lakeside Renovation & Design is seeking a skilled stone mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in residential construction and experience with modern stone installation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Install architectural cut stone (granite, marble, limestone, sandstone) and related support steel & anchors
• Erect stone masonry dry-stacked walls
• Tuckpointing, caulking, and masonry cleaning
• Perform stone repairs including dutchman and various fracture repairs
• Ensure a safe and clean jobsite
• Work with a team of 1-2 other stone masons
• Deliver Lakeside Renovation & Design’s values and mission to the construction industry

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and labor
• Able to stand for long periods
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check (or have proper medical card)

Qualifications

• Willingness to commute to jobs within the St. Louis Metropolitan area

Skills

• Proficiency with industry-standard construction tools
• Experience with latest construction materials
• Strong organizational and safety skills
