Pick and Receive
- Receive incoming shipments from central Shipping/Receiving Area, verify their contents, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain documents related to parts.
Stockroom Management
- Organize merchandise in the stockroom, ensuring proper labeling and categorization.
- Maintain a clean and orderly stockroom to facilitate easy access.
- Restock shelves and display areas with merchandise as needed.
- Maintain inventory levels to ensure products are readily available for customers.
- Report any discrepancies and assist in reconciling inventory records.
Part Distribution
- Pull parts from inventory for work orders.
- Pack and label merchandise for outgoing shipments accurately, following company guidelines for packing and shipping.
- Pick up and drop parts to local vendors when needed.
Tool Room Operations
- Issue tools and equipment to workers and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
- Mark and identify tools and equipment.
Coordination and Support
- Cook with sales associates, managers, and other stockroom personnel to ensure smooth operations and timely merchandise retrieval.
- Coordinate Outside Service.
- Operate forklift.
- Create FedEx, YRC, and other shipping documents.
- Assist in the Shipping Department when needed.
