Stockroom Clerk (Day Shift)

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Manufacturing & Operations, the Stockroom Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of materials and components that support manufacturing and operational activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, and efficient stockroom operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. This is an onsite role in our Ott manufacturing facility in Sterling, VA.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, Day Shift. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Handles stocking material from incoming receipts.
• Responsible for packaging and protection of stored material.
• Issues material for the work orders on-time and according to the schedule.
• Participates in cycle counts and inventory control.
• Performs data entry operations to continually update the on-hand inventory.
• Verifies transaction-posting accuracy.
• Ensures the stockroom equipment is in safe operating condition and promptly address any equipment issues within 24 hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or related coursework preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of stockroom experience.
• Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Proficiency in Syteline ERP
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

$19.00 - $21.00 USD per hour.
