Stockroom Clerk
About the role
We are seeking a versatile individual with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Applicants must be self‑sufficient in shipping, receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing stockroom materials, and be able to interface with multiple teams and individuals throughout the company to ensure clear communication and progress on assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move shipments by hand or using material‑handling equipment.
- Examine shipment contents and compare them with records (manifests, invoices, orders) to verify accuracy.
- Kit and verify production materials to shop orders.
- Organize, label, count, inspect, and perform clerical duties for the stockroom.
- Adhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain the shipping and receiving area.
- Deliver or route materials to other departments using material‑handling devices.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in shipping & receiving and stockroom roles (preferred).
- General computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and quality‑driven.
- Ability to learn, understand, and troubleshoot inventory‑management software/ERP systems.
- Willingness to undertake various tasks and adapt to unexpected situations in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to lift 75 lb frequently.
- Experience with medical‑device manufacturing or cleanroom environments is a plus.
