Stockroom Attendant 2 - Temporary

About the role

The UW Medical Center-Montlake - Environmental Services Waste/Linen Department is seeking a Temporary Stockroom Attendant 2. This position is anticipated to be up to 12 months in duration.

Responsibilities

• Takes inventory of clean linens in units, clinics, and storage areas; tracks and records counts using LinenHelper on an iPad.
• Delivers clean linen carts to units and clinics based on established par levels, including rush and non-stock orders as needed.
• Maintains clean linen storage areas in an organized manner using proper rotation and ensures linen carts are always covered.
• Reports operational issues and assists with general inquiries from hospital staff.
• Participates in staff meetings, responds to emails, and performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance in accordance with workplace standards.

Requirements

• Six months of full-time experience as a Stockroom Attendant I
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements

Pay

Pay Range Minimum: $21.70 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $26.84 hourly
