Main Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries from parcel and common carriers
- Verify shipment contents, part numbers, quantities, and purchase order information
- Identify and document damaged materials and notify appropriate teams
- Use the ERP system to pick and issue materials for production
- Deliver parts and bins to production teams throughout the manufacturing area
- Use hand scanners to issue and transfer materials as needed
- Support First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory practices
- Communicate current and potential stock-outs to appropriate teams
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse according to department guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three months of related experience or training preferred
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience working with an ERP system preferred
- Familiarity with FIFO inventory management practices preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, chain hoists, hand trucks, and similar equipment
- Customer-service mindset and ability to support internal production teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities
