Stockperson/General Farm Hand job in Caithness

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, hard-working stockperson to work full-time on an extensive sheep and cattle farm in the North of Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the Farm Manager and with the wider Estate team
• Running approximately 1,500 ewes and 100 cows
• Managing the physically demanding nature of this role
• A knowledge of working sheep dogs and a knowledge of tractor/forklift/ATV driving is essential
• A willingness and enthusiasm to learn more

Requirements

• Experience of working with cattle and sheep is essential
• An understanding of hill farming is desirable
