Stocking Pharmacist

Essential Functions

• Restock the automated medication system (AMS) ("Restocking Trip") a minimum of twice weekly, and as needed upon request by Company.
• Ensure the integrity of pharmacy medication inventory as it relates to expiration dating, accuracy, and orderliness of the AMS.
• Submit reports and audits as scheduled and as requested by Company.

Requirements

• Educational / Experience Requirements:
• Formal Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 6 months
• Licenses, Registrations, and / or Certifications Required:
• Yes
• Bachelor of Science Pharmacy Degree required
• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required
• Hospital experience, preferred
• Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of practice required

Qualifications / Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong mathematical and computer literacy skills

Work Environment

• Occupational Risks:
• Some portions (less than 50%) of daily assignments involve occupational risk, such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, injuries from falls, or back injury sustained with assisting in moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials.
• Safety Equipment:
• Job does not require the use of safety equipment, such as HEPA mask, for infection prevention.
• Work Schedule:
• Work may require evening, night, holiday, or weekend assignments on occasion.

Volatility of Workload

• The workload required to perform this job requires infrequent changes, but when changes occur they tend to be minor.
