Stocking Associate / Merchandiser - Part Time

About the Role

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. As a Merchandiser reporting to the store management team, you will maximize product inventory, support online business operations, and ensure a positive shopping experience. While both part‑time and full‑time positions generally focus on merchandising responsibilities, you may also be assigned sales, front‑end, or other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise.
• Build displays and end caps, place signage, and support digital business operations by fulfilling orders.
• Assist with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries when assigned.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely, following company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws when delivery is an essential function.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience; 1+ year in a retail setting (preferred).
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements

• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
• Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift 50 lb overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Pay

Compensation varies based on factors such as market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Schedule

Flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
