Stocker

About the role

At Northern Tool + Equipment, we serve the tradespeople who keep our country running strong and the weekend warriors who want to work like them. This role involves adapting to a fast-paced and energetic environment, keeping stores organized, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Sorting merchandise from pallets to carts for easier stocking and placing it in the proper locations in the store or backstock areas.
• Completing endcap resets, modular resets, pod creation, and maintaining the visual presentation of the sales floor.
• Working backstock bins and organizing top stock down.
• Assisting customers with carry-outs to their vehicles and assembling products for customers or displays as needed.

Requirements

Spanish language skills are preferred, but not required. Flexibility with availability, especially for weekends and holidays, is expected. A love of tools and equipment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lift 70 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

Prior retail sales, cashier, stocking, or customer service experience is admired but not required. A service-focused mindset is key.
