About the role
The Community Cupboard Stocker is responsible for stocking, organizing, and maintaining the Goodwill Feeds Community Cupboard to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming grocery-style shopping environment for community members. This position supports daily store operations by stocking shelves, breaking down and organizing deliveries, maintaining cleanliness of the store and back-of-house areas, and completing routine janitorial tasks.
Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and organize deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness of the store and back-of-house areas
- Complete routine janitorial tasks
- Support the Cashier’s by receiving cross-training to assist at the register when necessary
Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in retail or stockroom operations is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
Skills
Attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and strong organizational skills are essential.
