Your Role at Dollar Tree

As a Stocker, you’ll be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of your assigned store, including:

  • Receiving merchandise
  • Unloading trucks
  • Processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards
  • Merchandising and stocking as needed
  • Assisting with the cash register and supporting customers
  • Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Communicating effectively with customers, associates, and leaders
  • Maintaining professional and friendly interactions
  • Assisting with the cleanliness throughout the store, including:
    • Cleaning and restocking bathrooms
    • Sweeping and mopping floors
    • Taking out the trash
    • Ensuring all areas are neat and presentable

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
  • Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
