Stock Specialist, Williamsburg

About the role

The Stock Specialist will provide excellent service by quickly locating merchandise and retrieving additional sizes, colors and options. They will engage customers with a friendly and warm attitude, ensuring all merchandise is stored and replenished on each sales floor efficiently and precisely. They will work closely with the Operations team to support the boutique in achieving its targets and delivering an extraordinary client experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize stockrooms, putting away new deliveries daily.
• Retrieve items for the sales team during peak season.
• Maintain clean, neat, and organized stockrooms.
• Work with the IC team to reticket merchandise returns daily and quickly return to floor or stock.
• Participate in store inventory, cycle counts, and manual counts.
• Support the shipping and receiving team with daily new receipts by placing incoming stock in the appropriate stockrooms following the established standards.
• Assist selling team with stock and size questions as needed.
• Organize stock to optimize stock and inventory workflow, space utilization, and sales objectives in the store.
• Complete operational tasks related to inventory, transfers, and other tasks as assigned.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to support the needs of the business.
• Support the shipping and receiving team with daily new receipts by placing incoming stock in the appropriate stockrooms following the established standards.
• Participate in other operational duties as needed.

Requirements

This position requires a professional who is detail-oriented with a sense of urgency, supports an environment of teamwork, trust, and collaboration, demonstrates strong communication skills, and can work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business. Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel is required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance is necessary.

Skills

Skills required include excellent customer service, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury environment. Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel is essential.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $24.67 - $27.01. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
