Stock Room/Inventory Clerk
About the role
The Stock Room Clerk is a key member of the Inventory team, responsible for monitoring inventory levels, implementing control systems, and managing logistics.
Responsibilities
- Pulling parts for build to stock work orders and issuing materials.
- Stocking departments with needed supplies and making stock transfers of inventory.
- Ordering low inventory, when required, including stock items, office supplies, maintenance supplies, installation tools and supplies, production supplies and packing supplies.
- Issuing material to GL codes to keep inventory accurate for budgetary tracking.
- Reviewing and confirming incoming, purchased supplies to ensure they are in the correct location, adjusting locations in the system as needed and stocking accurately.
- Putting away stock build WIP and receiving to proper locations in the system.
- Conducting month-end cycle counts of Cardboard and packing supplies, paint supplies and office supplies, ordering any items with low quantities.
- Pulling job-related items, including conduit and UTS and HPH hardware for BBX and stage.
- Completing all operations in the system to issue material and show work complete.
- When required, pulling consignment material from shelves, delivering to production, and filling out purchase requisitions for purchasing to process orders.

- Communicate using good oral and written skills.
- Able to organize work, set priorities, and respond to deadlines in a timely manner.
- Must be able to demonstrate initiative and motivation to work both individually and within a team.

Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise, machinery, and moving parts. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to: lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. Anything over 40 pounds may require assistance.
