Stock Picker- 1st Shift (M-Th, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm)

About the Role

To accurately pick product for replenishment of warehouse pick locations or for direct shipment to a customer or store.

Responsibilities

• Completes all required equipment sign out and inspection paperwork.
• Picks product based on product label information.
• Verifies correct product is picked using radio frequency scanner.
• Stacks picked product on pallets to allow for safe transit to final destination.
• Transports completed pick order to directed replenishment staging, anchor floor, wrapper staging, or dock destination.
• Follows all standard operating procedures and adheres to all stated productivity requirements while performing the job.
• Maintains all work areas, including replenishment and pick locations, in a neat and orderly condition.
• Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and practices.
• Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management.
• Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse work experience required.
• Ability to work a varied schedule based upon the needs of the business.
• Ability to accurately read and match numbers.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions and communicate to personnel.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work in a manner that promotes a safe working environment.
• Ability to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ability to obtain equipment license or power equipment certification as required.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to bend, stoop, push, and pull objects.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility during the required length of the shift.
• Specific vision abilities include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to talk and hear.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Ability to work at heights up to 32 feet.
• Ability to operate stock picker or other power equipment as necessary.
