Stock Clerk B
Duties
Maintains prescribed stock levels of a variety of materials and components to be used by production departments and laboratories.
Receives, stores and issues materials and components following prescribed procedures.
Receives, materials/components and assigns proper stock codes to each and places material/components on stock shelves.
Maintains inventory records and proper paperwork for accountability of stores.
Notifies proper authority to reorder when minimum inventory levels are reached.
Alters storage locations according to changing conditions.
Picks up and delivers material and equipment for the department.
Operates fork-lift truck.
Performs other related duties as directed.
