About the role
Receives, orders, inventories, stores and issues items (food, drugs, equipment, chemicals, products, etc.) throughout the facility and off-site locations. This position performs these duties in both patient and non-patient related care areas and is assigned to a variety of departments throughout UNC Hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient and other transportation as requested
- Loads and unloads supplies
- Packs and unpacks items to be stocked
- Maintains invoices and other records
- Maintains storage areas in safe, neat and clean condition
- Receives, orders, inventories, stores and distributes supplies
- User consultation—meets with users to fulfill needs
Requirements
- None required (Education)
- If a Driver: Valid NC Driver's license (Licensure/Certification)
- No prior experience required (Professional Experience)
Pay
$18.12 - $25.51 per hour (Hiring Range). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.
