About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stock Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure our store's inventory is organized, stocked, and ready for customers. This role involves maintaining the backroom and sales floor, receiving and processing shipments, and assisting customers with inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock room cleanliness and organization
• Assist with setup and breakdown of promotional displays, events, and special projects at the manager's discretion
• Assist shuttle drivers with unloading trucks as needed
• Assist with customer pick-ups as needed
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, assembled, and displayed
• Move new and existing merchandise to/from the floor
• Use basic computer skills for scanning tools, printing inventory tags, and working in the store inventory system (training provided)
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 100+ lbs (most lifting will be assisted with a dolly, roll cart, or buddy system)
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to accurately track inventory and maintain stockroom orderliness
• Previous experience in stockroom or warehouse operations (preferably in retail or furniture) is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

This job operates in a retail and warehouse environment. The role involves regular standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
