Stock Associate - Part Time - (Flamingo LV)

Responsibilities

• Appearance
  • Adhere to uniform standards; wear a clean and neatly pressed uniform at all times.

  • Maintain customer service levels in accordance with Total Service standards.

  • Communicate daily activities to the next shift on duty.

  • Clock in and out as directed based on the schedule.
• Stock Management
  • Receive shipments in a timely manner.
  • Unpack and put away or transfer daily deliveries of merchandise.
  • Receive DDS shipments and notify Supervisor on Duty of discrepancies.
  • Deliver and replenish sodas.
  • Receive orders of Pepsi, liquor, wine, and beer.
  • Follow delivery schedule set by the Retail Manager.
  • Transport merchandise from the receiving dock to store locations.
  • Perform additional physical labor for high-volume retail stores, including stocking coolers and transporting stock from remote storage.
  • Ensure necessary supplies (bags, tissue, bubble wrap, etc.) are delivered to stores.
  • Complete stock counts as requested.
  • Maintain and manage stock areas.
  • Inform Supervisor on Duty of overstock or out-of-stock items.
  • Complete on-hand logs for stock room areas where applicable.
  • Monitor alcohol and beer inventory; assist with ordering as needed.
  • Assist in completing store-to-store transfers.
• Housekeeping
  • Participate in stock room cleanliness by dusting and keeping areas neat and uncluttered.
  • Inform Supervisor on Duty of maintenance concerns (e.g., lights).
  • Collect and dispose of trash where applicable.
• Miscellaneous
  • Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Complete job assignments as directed by the Supervisor on Duty.
  • Assist with associate sales, inventories, and special events as requested.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• 1 year of retail stock experience required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull heavy loads, and work standing for 90% of the day.
• Must handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment with constant interaction with staff and the public.
• Shifts may vary based on business needs.
• Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner.
• Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
