Stock Associate

Position Overview

The Stock Associate is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and preparing merchandise for the selling floor. They also maintain the stock room's organization, cleanliness, and ensure merchandise is ready for the selling floor.

Essential Functions

• : Create a positive first impression by adhering to the dress code.
• : Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by following store standards and cleanliness protocols.
• : Notify management of any shipment discrepancies and missed markdowns in the stock room.
• : Sensor, steam, fold, and hang merchandise as needed.
• : Bring new goods to the selling floor and replenish merchandise from the stock room to the selling floor.
• : Execute transfers, RTVs (Return to Vendor), manage damages, and handle customer charge sends.
• : Ensure the stock room is organized, clean, and merchandise is floor-ready at all times.
• : Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management, be punctual, adhere to designated work schedule, work well with peers and management, and follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%.
• : Actively perform housekeeping and maintenance duties.
• : Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions.
• : Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company.
• : Participate in all inventories.
• : Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.

Physical Requirements

• : Ability to lift items weighing more than 30 pounds.
• : Ability to stand for an extended period during working hours.

Job Requirements

• : High school diploma or equivalent.
• : Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred.
• : Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• : Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• : Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis.
