Job Summary
Reporting to our Operations Director, the Planning Lead will be responsible for material requirements planning (MRP) activities for a major customer account. This includes raw materials ordering and inventory, and production planning and scheduling. The goal is to secure that we manufacture and supply products on time to customers following defined quality standards and operative KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain material requirements data in MRP/SAP system(s)
- Test and validate system configuration whenever updated/changed
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement regarding supply planning and service to customers
- Issue and distribute status reports (e.g. COOISPI schedule, OTS, past due purchase orders)
- Work under the standards of quality, safety and industrial hygiene
- Identify risks and constraints (capacity, material availability, logistics) and lead mitigation actions to protect service levels and business continuity
- Establish and standardize processes in a developing function, taking ownership of building and shaping the role within the site, driving structure, governance, and best practices
- Mentor and enhance planning capabilities within the organization, setting standards, coaching team members, and promoting knowledge-sharing across the network
- Create and manage Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) from the receiving plant with material demand and priorities
- Avoid delays in sample readiness by communicating clear priorities and deadlines to production
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure you repack, prepare, and ship samples according to required timelines
- Align sample demand with our priorities such as quality validation, new product trials, or customer requirements
- Track sample status end-to-end and provide visibility to stakeholders on availability and timelines
- Plan and schedule sample requirements using STO processes to ensure timely availability for laboratory testing and evaluation
- Manage strategy vs. execution
Requirements
- Vocational diploma in Logistics
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the area of materials management and planning
- Experience with Stock Transfer Order (STO) processes and inventory planning (SAP or similar ERP systems)
- Ability to manage material movements across plants
- Ability to manage multiple STOs and sample requirements simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Foreign Trade or others
- APICS certification

Pay & Schedule
Salary expectation based on technical experience $86,000.00 - 110,000.00
