STINFO Liaison/Administrator
About the Role
Mach Energetics Technical Services Division is seeking a STINFO (Scientific and Technical Information Office) Liaison/Administrator to support the development, review, publication, tracking, and distribution of technical documents used internally by government and contractor teams and, when approved, publicly released.
Responsibilities
- Support data management activities by generating standard and ad hoc reports, maintaining tracking logs, spreadsheets, and government databases, while ensuring proper document naming, version control, archival procedures, and data integrity.
- Maintain the STINFO SharePoint site, including guidance for Scientists and Engineers (S&E) on workflows, processes, and distribution statements.
- Serve as the RW-West Data Item Descriptions advisor by preparing and updating DD Form 1423-1, refining Contract Data Requirements Lists for contract awards, maintaining a library of commonly used CDRLs, and assisting customers in identifying applicable DIDs.
- Process DD Form 882, Report of Inventions and Subcontracts as required for contract closeout, including tracking on government systems, preparing a Patent letter, routing to GPM for approval, and storing on government database systems.
- Receive, track, process, and staff DTIC Form 55, Request for Release of Limited Information requests from DTIC, and prepare letters with results for Division Technical Advisor’s approval.
- Prepare, validate, and disseminate a monthly STINFO Status Metrics report, including categories such as technical reports, technical papers, DD Form 1423-1, DD Form 882 activity, DTIC submissions, and submissions to AFRL/PA.
- Monitor the STINFO Org email and route items as necessary for action.
- Assist with converting paper documents to electronic formats, shredding and/or boxing of CUI/CTI information, and perform quarterly assessments of office supplies.
- Assist with self-inspection checklists, including the MICT checklists.
- Assist the office in DTIC submissions to ensure timely submission after presentation.
Qualifications
- Three years of editing experience with excellent skills in evaluating and editing technical written material.
- Comprehensive computer skills in formatting/generating reports and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and minimum California car insurance.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift items in indoor and outdoor work environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher.
- Experience with STINFO office procedures and DTIC submissions.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense technical reporting requirements.
- Prior experience working on a military installation or directly supporting Air Force/Space Force operations.
Pay
Per Wage Determination No. 2015-5603, Revision No. 30, this role aligns with Technical Writer I responsibilities. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience, education, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
