About the Role
Deliver and pump hazardous chemicals on oilfield wells according to customer specifications. Safely and responsibly maintain all equipment required to perform job functions.
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate high-pressure pumping equipment to treat oil and gas wells.
- Monitor pump rates, pressures, and chemical volumes throughout jobs and report back to the supervisor.
- Properly maintain the pump truck and all company equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service skills to all customers and field office personnel.
- Maintain the highest level of safety at all times.
- Work well independently and in a team atmosphere.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- Previous oilfield experience handling hazardous chemicals and treating high-pressure wells preferred.
- Must possess, at minimum, a Class A CDL with Tanker and Airbrake endorsements.
- Class A CDL is required to drive a tractor-trailer combination.
- Possess a current Medical Examiner’s Certification.
- Ability to read maps and follow driving directions.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
- Adhere to Jacam Catalyst’s Drug and Alcohol policy and agree to submit to random drug testing as a condition of employment.
Work Environment
- Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved.
- May be faced with working in temperature extremes.
- Must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds.
- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful.
- Use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S Monitor as required or needed.
