Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and repair of Stihl and other small-engine power equipment.
- Preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and adjustments.
- Testing equipment performance for safe and efficient operation.
- Maintaining accurate service records, work orders, and inventory logs.
- Providing customers with repair estimates and explaining service recommendations.
- Following all safety guidelines and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
- Staying updated with Stihl service updates, product bulletins, and training opportunities.
- Supporting store operations and team members as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in small engine repair (Stihl certification preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or with a team.
- Lift and carry up to 100 lbs., stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
