About the role
This is a full-time, peak-load, temporary position for the 2026-2027 season (May 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027). The role is based at 310 Mount Washington Hotel Road, Bretton Woods, NH 03575.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize china, glass, silver, pots, pans, stainless steel, and the entire kitchen area, including walls, floors, drains, and equipment.
- Report broken or damaged equipment for repair.
- Dispose of trash from the kitchen area properly and maintain the dumpster area.
- Receive and stock supplies such as food, beverage, or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or storerooms.
- Follow all sanitation policies and procedures.
Requirements
- No prior experience or education required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Conversational English required.
- Subject to drug testing and pre-employment criminal background checks (paid by employer and applied equally to all workers).
Pay
- Hourly wage: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with potential increases based on experience, performance, tenure, or market conditions.
- Overtime: $25.50 to $28.50 per hour (time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek, as required by law).
- Pay period: Weekly, with all legally required deductions made from paychecks.
Schedule
- 35 hours per week, with shifts ranging from 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM (e.g., 7 AM–3 PM, 12 PM–8 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, 4 PM–12 AM, 5 PM–1 AM, or 9 PM–5 AM).
- Workdays and shift times may vary based on occupancy and events.

- Optional offsite housing available at approximately $125.00–$165.00 per week, including utilities and a $10/week refundable security deposit (refunded within one month if the room is left in good condition).

- Transportation to the worksite provided at no cost for workers in employer-provided housing.
- Reimbursement for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other government-mandated fees (excluding passport expenses).
- Transportation and subsistence costs reimbursed if the worker completes half of the employment period (up to $68.00 per day for subsistence with receipts).
- Return transportation and subsistence costs covered upon completion of the contract or early dismissal (unless the worker secures subsequent employment).
