About the Role

The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is looking for a talented Steward who shares a passion for excellence and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The Steward reports to the Assistant Executive Steward. We are looking for an energetic, experienced customer service professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and a passion for service and hospitality. Applicants will be a willing team player and willing to accept assignments on an as-needed basis to promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine
• Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities
• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
• Maintain the silver polishing program
• Utilize and handle cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Current Illinois Food Handlers Certificate
• Previous experience in a similar environment
• Strong command of the English language
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Passion for customer service
• Legal work authorization in the United States
