About the role

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes; washes by hand or loads into dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area orderly and sweeps/mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; assists with loading/unloading.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay

$16.00 per hour
