About the role
Our Utility Cleaners play an important role in supporting various hotel functions. These associates may work across different departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry to meet cleaning needs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools like dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
- Transport dishware or linens across the hotel.
- Create a safe workplace.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Uphold quality standards.
- Ensure professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication.
- Support team to reach common goals.
- Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
