Sterile Processing Tech II

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of complex surgical instruments and trays to support pediatric surgical services.
• Operate autoclaves and low-temperature sterilization systems
• Monitor biological and chemical indicators to ensure sterilization efficacy
• Maintain accurate tracking, inventory management, and documentation
• Collaborate with OR and nursing teams to prioritize case needs
• Uphold infection prevention and regulatory standards
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of sterilization procedures, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong teamwork skills in a pediatric healthcare setting.
