Sterile Processing Technician I

About the role

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Medical Device Requisitioner to provide reusable and disposable medical devices, equipment, instrumentation, and scopes for health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, storage, distribution, and disposal of medical devices and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate inventory levels and timely restocking.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Graduation from a Sterile Processing Program or equivalent on-the-job training or related military experience.
• Within 90 days of hire/transfer and annually thereafter, must complete and pass Learning Center web-based training module, CHA-Blood Borne Pathogens.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification, or obtain within one year of transfer/hire.

Preferred

• One year recent experience in sterile processing or related field.

Compensation

Compensation range: $23.15 - $34.73 per hour. Salary information is based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
