Sterile Processing Technician (Full Time)

About the role

The Sterile Processing Technician at Benefis Health System is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing medical supplies, instruments, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing medical supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Deals with pressure to meet deadlines, accuracy, and handling constantly changing situations.
• Deals with a variety of people, handles stressful situations, and handles conflict.
• Performs all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
• Adheres to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
• Complies with all Benefis Health System organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Sterile Processing Technician experience preferred.
• BLS preferred.
• CRCST preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
